"A woman waiting"
Year: 2022
Size: different
Technique: Acrylic on paper
This painting is the search for an evolution each time I paint this same painting of a woman with her hands on her chin waiting for something to happen.
The first time I painted the picture, the prettiness, her face and even the space was straight, it was steady, it looked real.
As time goes by and the waiting continues this subject is changing, transforming.
The reality of this painting is that what she is waiting for never arrives, and while despair comes to her body she does not lose hope, even though she is about to do it, she keeps waiting....
Over time the space around her, her eyes and even her figure becomes disfigured, time moves forward and she continues to hope, but she is no longer what she was.

What others say, listen to and see of us ends up becoming an affirmation of who we are, and overrides our own identity. They believe that what they have seen of us is the totality of our identity, and it makes one believe it oneself. Thus leaving the possibility of being and changing."
"Keep your feet active"
Year: 2022
Size: 40 x 50 cm

If you keep your feet free from the possibility of change and moving into new paths and possibilities of being , you allow the feet you walk on to change and with it everything they hold.
"Get the ego away of the way"
Year: 2022
Size: 1m x 1m
Technique: Acrylic on canvas
The ego, in its duality, offers us two versions of ourselves. These two versions range from the reality of oneself as the best, from a narcissistic point of view, to considering oneself as the worst, victimisation.
In this work I want to represent how the greatest sufferings and worries are caused by the EGO and how this subject can take over the surface by anchoring its vision, thus letting the human see, hear and feel from its only position, its own.
So this subject will never be able to grow, move and progress.
